Why Your Loan Gets Compared, Not Just Submitted

The industry calls this step "Shopped to the Market."

This is the step that makes working with a broker different from walking into a bank. Every lender has its own rules for who they approve, on top of the standard guidelines. That means two lenders can look at the exact same person and reach opposite decisions.

A bank only ever gives you its own answer. We take your loan to the lenders in our network most likely to say yes to your specific situation, not just the first one we try. Most people only ever ask one lender, and if that one says no, they assume they can't buy a home. We don't stop at one.
